Founded in 1991, Active identified the need for a technically skilled environmental contractor that could act as the contractor of choice for consulting firms. We focused on building our reputation as an honest, technically skilled environmental contracting firm that could understand and accomplish project goals from the perspective of consultants and clients alike. Our initial service offerings included specialized remedial contracting for large and small consulting firms; residential and commercial storage tank removal; process facility shut down, decontamination, and cleaning; and limited consulting services. In 2001, Active realized the need for a team of consultants that could think “outside the box.” Thus, the consulting division was established and staffed with a diverse group of results-oriented professionals with a broad range of skills and expertise.
